Trash to Truisms

Trash to Truisms is an album recorded by Aaron Finbloom in the summer of 2010 while staying on in a cabin in the woods Sperryville, Virginia for 2 weeks.  The intention of my stay in the cabin was to make music that philosophized.  While the music itself may not do this, I tried to put the album together in a way which might.  The songs move in temporal succession from instrumentals, to a single spoken syllable, to one-take tracks recorded live, to multi-track recordings.  A movement from inanimate objects, through humans to the machine?  A movement from singularity to multiplicity?  Or just weird sounding songs?  It is up to you to decide…
